Hello there! My name is Joyce.
As a wife and mother of three, I understand the importance of feeling confident and beautiful in what you wear. I founded Gozi Fashion to ensure all of our customers feel empowered and confident.
THE DESIGNER
Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, before moving to the United States to study, I've always had fashion in my heart, but it wasn't until the pandemic hit that I found my true calling. During the lockdown, I picked up sewing as a hobby, wanting to learn how to create pieces for myself and my kids and maybe even to sell. Though it was a lot of work, I quickly fell in love with designing and creating my own clothes, piece by piece.
As I kept creating, I realized there was a need for high-quality African-inspired clothing; I knew I wanted my piece to be a vessel for confidence. The beautiful outfits presented at Nigerian weddings and events spoke for themselves, and it was clear that it was time to bring this African fashion to the world. That's when I knew I had to start Gozi Fashion. I offer pieces made with the utmost quality and care, using materials that will last you for years.

WHY GOZI?
Gozi is derived from my middle name, Ngozi, which means blessing in Igbo, a Nigerian language. We want our brand to be a blessing to everyone who wears our clothing and to our local community.
